2019-2020 JUEL Try Out Information!

The 2019-2020 JUEL try out information has been announced:

1. Thursday, August 15th – 7:00-8:30pm at Forster High School
2. Tuesday, August 20th – 6:30-8:00pm at L’Essor High School
3. Thursday, August 22nd – 6:30-8:00pm at the Wish Center in Chatham

Jr. NBA House League Is back!

The Windsor Valiants organization is excited to be partnering with Canada Basketball and the Jr. NBA to bring the Jr. NBA Youth Basketball Program to the Windsor Valiants. Starting Saturday September 21st 2019 the Windsor Valiants organization will be offering girls only basketball house league sessions for girls in grades one through nine. The house league sessions will follow the proven lesson plans from the Jr. NBA and will have a lot of perks for participants. Girls will receive a t-shit, Spalding basketball, drawstring bag, certificate, poster, player journals and parent guide. 2015 was the last year the Valiants partnered with the Jr. NBA program.

All 3 sessions (fall, winter, spring) for house league basketball will last 8 weeks. House league will take place every Saturday at 749 Felix Ave at the Forster Community Hub. Sessions will be run by past and present Windsor Valiants players and coaches. Cost per participant is $100 per session. All levels and abilities of basketball are welcome to join. Fall Session; Sept 21-Nov 9
Winter Session: Jan 4-Feb 22
Spring Session: April 4-May 23

Grades 1-3 meet 9:00am-10:00am
Grades 4-6 meet 10:15am-11:30am
Grades 7-9 meet 11:45am-1:00pm

Skills Challenge

The Windsor Valiants are excited to host our first annual Basketball Skills Challenge. This Free event is open to boys and girls in Grades 1 through 8 and will be held at the University of Windsor Dennis Fairall Fieldhouse on Saturday May 11th, 2019.

Registration can be done by scanning and emailing the registration form to houseleague@windsorvaliants.ca or bringing it to the event day of.

We look forward having some basketball fun with you on the 11th. See you there!

GOOD LUCK Atom Girls!!

Windsor Valiants wants to wish the Atom Girls team the best of luck tomorrow at 2:30pm as they compete for the Gold medal and the title of the best team in all of Ontario at the Provincial Championships. Great job so far going 3-0 in pool play narrowly defeating the #1 team to advance to the Championship game. We are all rooting for you and sending best wishes. Go get em!!

Two weeks after winning gold in the Brantford Tournament, the U11 Atom Girls Valiants team wins the gold medal at the Blessed Sacrament tournament in Hamilton over the weekend.

The girls deployed the same method to attain victory – intense, scrappy defence and relentless rebounding. This coupled with incredible effort and timely scoring led the Valiants to gold once again
